This policy applies to all apps published by Jayson Fang under the Flashcards framework, including "JLPT N5 Flash Cards," "JLPT N4 Flash Cards," "Kanji Flash Cards," "Canadian Citizenship Flash Cards," and any future variants.
All flashcard data, study progress, and settings are stored locally on your device using SQLite. Nothing is sent to our servers because we do not operate any servers.
You may optionally enter your own Claude API key to generate flashcards using AI. Your API key is stored locally on your device and is sent directly to Anthropic's API when you request card generation. We never see, collect, or store your API key. Anthropic's use of your data is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat collects purchase-related data (such as transaction receipts and subscription status) as described in their privacy policy. We do not collect any additional payment or billing information.
We do not use any analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, or location information.
The app does not require or support user accounts or authentication of any kind.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not collect personal data from any user, it is suitable for all ages.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
